BLNC Facets : Pride in Everyday
For queer Filipinos, the message and goal of Pride does not simply end in June ; but rather, extends into their everyday lives, a daily protest that demands equal rights and protection in a world closing in on them for simply existing.
These photos submitted online for BLNC Magazine: Facets provide a glimpse of queer perspectives shaped by various locations in the Philippines, from the busy and colorful vibes of the metro, to the quiet stillness of the provinces. These individuals offer a short conversation, allowing us into their spaces and sharing their stories of how they navigate the world around them through their lived experiences.
